I am assuming you are referring to email notifications when a new Post is made to a Thread you have subscribed to as opposed to the ongoing newsletter saga. I did send a PM to test if you get an email notification for it.

You should check your subscription and email options settings to ensure they are what you want. Click on "User CP" in the second, thin, brown ribbon. Then select "Edit Options" in the left pane. The resultant screen will show the settings for email notifications and subscriptions (specifically "Default Thread Subscription Mode")
