I have looked wistfully at these units with the 7" display for several years, especially as my eyesight gets worse but the $700 price tag kept me away. I found these new on the BUYDIG website for $287. Garmin has discontinued this model so firmware updates will probably cease soon but the maps are the same as the NUVI series. I replaced a StreetPilot 2720 and this unit operates almost identically so the training curve is short. Also when you set it up, the first time you check updates it downloads the 2010 map update This unit also has provisions to play MP3's, connect a backup camera and can either play sound/voice commands through it's speaker of your FM radio.
