Propane for Winter Heat

This will be our first winter in the Monte (in NYS) and I am reading everything I can to make sure we are prepared. I'm sure I'll have many more questions but right now I'm working on setting up for propane for using the furnace. We have (2) 30lb tanks which I know will not last us anytime at all when it gets cold out (its already in the upper 30's at night). What's the best way to handle this? Should we buy a 100 lb tank (or two) and take it in to get refilled ourselves OR have a local propane delivery service set us up. From what I'm reading if we use the propane delivery their tanks and regulators are different from the typical RV tank and we would have to have fittings changed (is this correct?) I'm assuming if we buy our own tank it would be the same as a gas grill tank and we could simply use the hoses already on our camper (or maybe need an extension?)

Thanks for any help!
