Well, they are paying
Got an email this morning:
Don't know if they got the demand letter or not.
Jim,
After much disucssion and prayer, our Team has decided to pay your invoice.
Per your offer allowing us to make payments, and because our church
treasurer is unavailable until Monday, we will pay half on Monday, July 23'd and the remaining no later than August 31.
I trust this meets with your approval.

My wife and I thank you. We haven't slept much since this happened, it will be good for all of us to put it behind us.
As I said, you are a good man, and the church is lucky to have you. (I told you that, when this deal was still up in the air)
