I have sold 4 5th wheel trailers on Craig's list. There are risks involved and you need to be aware of them when posting there... Scammers, and possibility of bad people meeting you to look it over.
I am in a pretty safe part of the country, and I can protect myself
so that has not been a huge concern for me in the past. I also know all of the scams and just ignore them when I see them.
I became aware trying to post a car dolley there a week ago that they are now charging $5 for posting in the RV section. I knew they had started that in the cars and trucks area, but I did not know that about RV's.
