I use Rotella T petroleum base and Wix filters in my Cummins. and change every 3000 miles. and after I hit 200,000 miles I will change to Rotella T synthetic. and I use Wix filters in everything I drive. I have people say I'm wasting my money changing that often, but with all my trucks and autos the body wears out before the engine. and the cost to change the oil myself is $45 for my Cummins and $15 for my cars.
