I had researched a lot. The replacement under-body tanks are quite large for Ford & Ram but not very big for GM trucks. It would be $1500 to $1800 to move from my 26 gal stock to a 36 gallon replacement. No way that is worth it. I found recommendations on forums like this one for KSH Tanks in Lake Havasu, AZ. I had specific dimensional requirements for a short bed, had to clear my Andersen hitch and fit under my tonneau cover. I filled out their template and they cooked up a custom fit, 70 gallon tank for $750. A gauge, vent and tax brought it to about $860. I bought a pump on my own and installed it. Now I can go all day and fill up at night or at a fuel stop of my choosing and with a price I've shopped for.
