This issue comes up a lot. I would say if you use your rv a lot or you are full timing it is probably a good thing. Make sure the extended warranty company you go with is who you will be dealing with and they did not sell your warranty to a second party. Read all the wording with care. Ask if the repair parts will be original or will they use generic or refurbished and make sure it is posted in the contract. Check out time limits that may be in the contract. Read the contract with care. Remember these contracts are not only to protect you but also to protect the warranty company. This is from my experience.
