we made it thru chicago--should have gone on 39 but someone decided that 294 would be good. in some construction but the worst was a semi truck that had traffic stopped up because his front wheel fell off or he had a blowout or something. Got in a horrific rainstrom just on the east side about 6 miles from the end of the turnpike--could not see more than 50 feet ahead--afraid to stop because someone might hit us from the back--all the trucks were going slow so we just sort of kept with them--Am I glad that is overI had a better idea than him
