I have seen a few setups that stretch out to 85'~90'.

Length laws and towing doubles vary by state. Just because you legal in your home state does not mean you are legal in the state you are in. Licensing is recepical but that is about it.

Last summer a guy on the HDT board was pulled over in the midwest. He had his car behind the 5th wheel. He was over length in the state he was in. He had to disconnect before he was allowed to continue.

Also most states that allow you to pull doubles also require brakes on both trailers.
