With chagrin all over my face ... I'll have to say I've never thought of blowing out the black water flush. I guess it doesn't matter as on two different Montanas and about 10 winters in Kansas, I've never had anything bust. The PEX tubing can take alot, it's the plastic fittings, faucets, and PTraps that don't fare so well. Don't forget to isolate the hot water heater and drain it. In the newer rigs, the hot water heater bypass is a given ... no so much in older units and some SOB's.
