We ended up changing the table to the one found in the Everest. Hubby goes to Everest dealer in his business every week and bought one from them that had been a take-out. It has a narrower base and a small extension, which works better for us. The pedastal on the one that came with ours was difficult to get around when trying to sit in the chair closest to the window and there was less leg room. We stained it to match ours (we saved ours should we ever decide to sell and get a newer one). He made sure to allow enough room to open the shades before screwing it to the floor.
