Oh to be young again and in need of money! I still need money, but I have enough to pay for the oil change at the dealer. I was using a service garage and it was costing me right at $100 for oil and filter change. They could not schedule me in the last time so I had it done at the ford dealer. $69 - guess where I'll be going from now on. The dealers are in competition with the other service shops so shop around. Personally, I'm worth more than they get for an oil change. Let's see, I have to get a pan, I have to get on my back, I have to pop the oil drain, then I have to find a place to dispose of the oil (Can't do it down the drain anymore!) Let's see, for me that is about 2 hours or more work. The dealer can get it out in 20 minutes, and if I leave it they like that better.

Besides - warranty, warranty, warranty. If something should go wrong, are they not responsible?
