We are in the process of replacing our oven in the 09 2980RL. We chose to switch to a new inverter type microwave. We hardly ever use the convection oven anyway since our stove has an oven. I am going to install a shelf with a lip to store large flat pans above the new microwave to use for storage. I understand the new convection type microwave is too pricey for us.
