I installed the heat strips in both air conditioners. The new strips seem to be longer than the old ones that were on the market. We had an eighteen degree difference between intake and outtake (60 - 78). Worked well in 40-50 degree weather. Have not tested it any lower. No draft feeling. Saving propane and very satisfied. Cannot confirm if the heat strips are longer and more efficient. I only know that they are working for us in cool weather.
