Well, our house closes on 11/1. It has been a long adventure filled with terror, excitement and a grueling schedule. On 7/10/22 we decided to retire and go full time. Since then, we have liquidated almost all our belongings, cleaned out and painted our house and made necessary repairs.
Our first buyer failed to get financing, so we went back on the market again. Within 3 days we had another acceptable offer and we are in the process of completing that now. We are changing our domicile to South Dakota and have been living in our Montana full time since 9/8/22and just arrived in SD on monday. So it has been a whirlwind the last few months and we are looking forward to slowing down a bit. I have not even figured out this retirement thing yet, never know what day it is! And November we will be moving to AZ for the winter.
We will NOT miss the Wisconsin winter! I hope never to handle a snow shovel again.
