Any gas appliance given the right orientation could have a problem with high winds. If you have electric, use it until the wind lets up. We generally use electric when it’s available and gas when dry camping or when we need quicker recovery. I’m not thinking there is much you can do other than turning the rig so the wind isn’t a problem.
