Welcome to the forum. This advice is not specific to your new Montana.

You are not on vacation. Do not stop just to smell the roses. Stop and watch them grow.

Travel the back roads. Charles Kuralt said it best, " Thanks to the interstate highway system, you can travel coast to coast and not see a thing." Use the internet to seek out local attractions.

Join the Moose or Elks or both. Many lodges have RV sites and all are full or friendly people that can tell you what to see in the area.

Did I mention travel slowly?? Two hundred miles a day is our maximum.

If you find a spot you really love, talk to the park manager or volunteer coordinator. See if you can work for site.

Wave and be friendly. Talk to people. Have two extra chairs at the campfire.
