Test drove a 2020 3500 Dmax Denali SRW today and all I got to say is wow I love that new tranny & the ride...

I have the 2017 3500 Dmax Denali SRW with just over 40k,000 kms on it, like it alot and it tows our Monty well.

The 2020 felt like a race horse compared to the 2017, same engine, same HP, same torque but different chassis & tranny and all I can say is it rides a way better (softer) and throttle response give you a whole new feeling with the new tranny. Some of the tech options (camera's) are awesome, the tailgate is well nice if you are in and out of the box alot but otherwise for me something that wouldn't sway me one way or the other. Really like the side steps on the box, like the changes inside the cab for control placements & inside the box they fixed some tie down issues and gave you more. I think by the feel of the steering they must have did something with the valving in the steering as well as I liked it better. Overall feel of a completely different truck, suggest you take the Ram & the GMC for a drive and compare. Night and day different truck from my 2017... But the pricing is also higher as well. Here in Ontario Canada the Denali with the Ultimate pkg I tried out lists for $98,250, trade in of 2017 giving me $63,000, got them down to $92,000 less the trade in of $63,000 but man that is a lot of money considering the 2017 only has 43,000 kilometers (just over 30,000 miles)...
