I remember that the early TST tire pressure alarms wouldn't let you know when a signal was lost (like when the battery dies ). I found out one time when I had left the monitor on and drove to the store. It was still reading pressure on all the tires even though I was 5 miles away. I remember emailing them about the issue. They have since corrected the issue on their newer systems.
I bring this up in case your issue was caused by a similar problem.
