I just bought two red plastic gas cans and a permanent marker and marked DIESEL all over the cans.
Last night I was looking thru a boat magazine at gas tanks and I noticed that all the ads for gas tanks said "not for diesel fuel". Is there a reason that you are not supposed to use the red plastic cans for diesel other than the color. I have the 29 gallon tank so I just wanted some extra capacity. I had to pay $2.08 a gallon near Pittsburgh and I thought it would be good to buy some extra if I found a good price. What gives with the diesel costing more than premium at this time?
