42 yrs in machine shop. Retired as a mfg. manager . 1975 was the first time i ever saw or heard of a CNC . Great technologies. Learned to master the CNC lathes but with a strong background in manuel lathe & mill . Oilfield was hard work , long hours but i wouldn't change it for anything . I agree with the PHD machinist.
