I bought my CCV filter from Amazon, 8 or 10 bolts and the old one comes off, reverse to put it back on.VERY EASY.
After replacing the CCV, I thought the truck had more power to it.
Also cleaned the EGR valve, very easy too. Here's how from Geno's garage:

Didn't do the EGR cooler though, seemed to involved.
EGR valve wasn't too dirty, just soak it on Simple green fir 24 hours, almost all the soot came right off. What didn't, I used a tooth brush to get the rest off. Rinse with clean water, then I used the exhaust of a shop vac to blow dry it.
Geno's give you all new gaskets to replace all the old ones.
VERY EASY TO DO....
