Ford quit installing Navistar back in 2011. Ford is the only manufacturer that has designed and built their own Diesel engine. And the only one that uses compacted graphic iron for the block.
The new Cummins are CGI. And the reason Ford has so many issues with their own engines is because they design their own engines.
