Charlie; I'm missing something here. Why would you put air bags on just because you touched the overloads? My big irritation on my first truck ('01 Dodge Cummins LB 4X2) was that it barely touched the overloads with the 2450 lb. pin on it and on certain roads it gave a little rougher ride. The overloads were variable rate springs so (the fulcrum moves closer to the axle as the load increases.) The truck below doesn't have overloads on it, but the springs are heavier and it rides much better than the '01. And on both trucks the rear doesn't sag.
