What is scary is what the impact of 10% unemployment has had on the overall economy. You know 90% of the workforce is still employed and things are dismal.Do not know what this "stimulus" package will bring. I watched the Senate proceedings on that and saw business as usual. I am willing to give it a chance. Folks need jobs. Don't care how it happens. Don't care which party takes credit. Tax cuts and spending are OK as long as we get a return on the dollars spent. I hope the politicians help to make it work instead of playing politics. Consumer confidence is good..but 10% or more of the consumers have no jobs or money to spend and that has had a huge impact regardless of the 90% who are working. We are hoping for the best..there are no alternatives. We will have no money coming from the stimulus package and hope the money gets to the folks who need it????
