Great point on the OE open panes, Steve. I don't like this feature, even on my Mac. I noticed that OE comes with this feature enabled as a default, and I agree with you that it is EXTREMELY dangerous. I immediately disabled this feature when I got my new HP... I want to determine which email I open next... NOT automatically open a email right under one I just deleted. I can't believe MS would set that default up that way. Probably figured that it would be easier for the newbie to use...
I do exactly as Steve (and Mac) do... I use FF and only go to IE when I run into a rare page that will not function propery with FF. Did that with my Mac too, ever since FF came out... used Netscape before that.
