I purchased the truck used with 33K and the SLC dealer said it had never been tuned as did the Chevy dealer that sold me the truck. It was a local trade in on a new 3500 diesel. I certainly didn't tune it. I have not "raced" it or intentionally attempted to exceed rpms. I drove the '12 just like I did the '04 pulling the same weight camper. The '04 had 150K miles. The '04 pulled the camper to Western US and Canada (Victoria, Washington State and Oregon)twice plus up and down the east coast several times. The first trip west caused me to install the LB7 turbo inlet and cold air return. If the '12 continues to perform as it has from SLC to Moab and then home, I will be a happy camper and Chevy Duramax owner!
