Plus one on what Carl n Susan said. The adapter was around $50 on Amazon, but it will save your cord which is about $130 to replace. Well worth it. BTW, if you replace your cord or just the end, they do make them with the 90 degree bend already in the cord or connection so you don't need the adapter.
