Another highjacked thread. Getting back to the subject. I put 6K on my marathons and was a nervous wreck. I weigh 11400 at the axles. The 3040 tires are too close for my comfort zone so I went with the G-614's and now sleep sound. Peace of mind does have a price when weighing the risk factors. Just completed the Fl to Montana trip, sitting in Mountain Meadows and the 614's look real good. To each his own.
