I am not sure what percentage of your retirement is allocated to fuel. I will be retiring one day within a few years. I am using a guideline of 7-9% and slightly higher than that for medical costs. When I get there, I will adjust my standard of living to be within my means. That would give me 2 options. Drive less or sell it. I am not a slave to it.
