Carol, another thing to be thinking about is the loss of space where the w/d will be installed. Our Montana came with two wire shelves in the lower part of the closet. I purchased two larger shelves and installed them above the w/d to compensate for not having the smaller ones.
We have also run our w/d quite often on 30amp service if it is a good circuit. You'll get used to not running the micro at the same time then.
I did help a friend of mine do the install, never again, the unit is too heavy for us seniors!
