Might make a "little" Noise I have had them on all three on my Monty's and if you live anywhere with high winds you better think twice ,I love toppers when you are in the woods with lots of trees BUT like if you live Anywhere with consistent high winds and I am telling ya think twice If you want any sleep they get LOUD!!!

If it is blowing hard enough to blow over an RV slide topper is really not an issue. I don't have them on my 3160 yet but I will put them on in the future. My last Fifthwheel and my camper had them. Wind might make some noise but I never had any damage to the topper.
