I dont have a slider hitch in my S.B. truck and dont have any problems towing. I did however move it back one hole from the most forward position. i have the B&W turnover ball hitch. I have towed my 03 3480 RL from coast to coast twice. I have a 15 F250 lariat trim truck SRW
