The problem filling at a truck stop is they are high pressure pumps and have the large nozzles like the diesel pumps. If I tried to fill my DEF tank there I'd have it all over the engine and the ground since my filler pipe is under the hood and it will only take the DEF slowly. I've even had the problem of it overflowing because I tried to put the DEF in to fast. That is one thing that Chevy and GMC have a problem with. I've asked the dealers why and they have no answer for me. Sure wish it was on the side like the Fords and Dodges!
