Thanks for sharing....we did not have a TV until 1954. Reception was poor at best as we were 160 miles from San Antonio and there was only one station at that time, WOAI. I remember most of the shows but as a teen there was lots of other activities to be involved in so sitting in front of the "tube" was not really important to me. Seems like content of the shows was always simple in those days and the "good guys" always made the show turn out the way it was supposed to end. I watch very little television today, mostly news programs and baseball games.
