They did and it became a complete mess, using too small bearing capsules. Dexter brand name was Nevr Lube and they came in 42 and 50mm sizes depending on axle capacity. Been there and an $800 bill convinced me that the conventional bearings were well worth getting dirty every other year or 12K miles was better.
