We are using the Watts 10,000 model softener, and yes , have a pressure gauge inside the convenience center, instead of at the regulator. The regulator is not an RV regulator but is one you might find plumbed to a house. I had one of those RV adjustable regulators, lasted a couple years, then started not working. This is a Watts regulator, and has been working perfectly for about five years so far.
