The thing you would like to see in Ashville is the Biltmore estate. It’s worth the trip.
Another thing. I was on the Blueridge Parkway today. It has been going down hill for 30 years but up here south of Roanoke for the few miles I was on it, it was maintained better than I had seen it for decades. The weeds were cut like they used to be. Maybe with the new infusion of cash all of our National Parks will be better maintained and brought back to what they should be. Fingers crossed.
