We had a shower leak too and someone here had already posted a solution which we followed. Hopefully you can fix it with the washer but we ended up removing all pipe and fittings from the trap back to the shower.

I resealed the drain fitting in the shower (with the strip calk used around windows), installed a new rubber gasket and then cut a piece out of the horizontal drain and installed a flex rubber connection from Home Depot so the whole assembly could move a little without stressing anything. (When I stand in the shower, it looks like the shower floor may move a little).

Everything could be accessed in our 3380 from the basement in the unit, albeit awkwardly. Maybe overkill but no problems for over a year. Good luck!
