Mine pulled out and is easy to repair. If I remember correctly you loosen the two or three screws on the face of the plug. This allows the yellow cover to slide down the power cable. There is a saddle clamp to hold the black sheath of the cord in place. Loosen the two screws on the saddle clamp, work the black sheath back up the cord. Tighten the saddle clamp screws. While you have the yellow cover off might as well inspect the inners of your plug and tighten the lugs for the four leads of your power cord. Mind you that is how it is on my dinosaur 2006 but doubt that has changed much in newer models.
