Bill-- I'd have that fixed before you come out to Nebraska for the Central Plains Rally in July. It is not the correct position for that rod. Your tire should be alined also before the trip!
As you said-- you were lucky you weren't towing the Monte on the Interstate when it came loose. Best of luck and hope it wasn't to costly to fix!
