I've bought the a few times in the past (MANY years in the past) and found the hard way that none of them are worth it. Not even for an RV with all the things that can go wrong. Even everything in an RV has some sort of warranty that's usually for several years and will almost always be all one needs (although figuring out which one applies and how to use it can be confusing). For a vehicle, it's a lot easier. To top it off, usually the ones you pay for have tiny print clauses that allow them not to cover a lot of things that really could go wrong (my first class C had an electrical problem that neither the truck maker nor the RV extended warranty covered and cost me $2k). You're better off putting something like $20 or more a month into a repair savings account if you're really worried about those things.
