Look below the story. In the comments a person named Mary Ellen Brogdon posted it was their rig and besides thanking those who helped, gave explanation of what happened to them and how they got in that mess.
Bottom line, it was lack of planning and not seeing the signs. If the signs are there and you don't see them, oops. And another good reason that you do plan your route ahead of time especially if the roads and route are new to you. "Swamp foxing" with your trailer in tow is NOT a good idea. Then driving awareness and observation are critical enroute.
