We are planning on spending 2 months out there next summer as our youngest daughter and son-in-law live in Kent - and they are about to have their first child. While visiting a couple of weeks ago, we looked at campgrounds near by and were very disappointed. We ended up making a reservation at Tall Chief RV Resort. It is about 30 minutes from Seattle and about 50 from Kent. It is NOT full hookup however (no sewer) and most of the sites are only 30 amp. We're planning on trying to survive on one AC at a time while there and bringing along our blue tote. There is a dump station on the property. It is very wooded there with some privacy from others. The remaining campgrounds that were reasonably close to Kent/Seattle were all pretty rough looking from what we tend to prefer. Many seemed more like parking lots with trailers on top of each other so your awning would provide shade for your neighbor's slides. If you find something you like, please let us know.
