When you have nothing else to do.

Last winters trip took us on some roads that had ice and snow. They had been sanded and am sure salt added. Since we got home the Monty has been at dealer for a month. Brought it home and was real disappointed that the lug nuts were badly rusted. So with nothing else to do today, (wrong), I removed one and cleaned it. Used a polishing compound and a good wax. Found out it was mostly dirt that was stuck in the impressions from impact wrenches. Took awhile but they all now look brand new. So if you have nothing to do today clean and polish your lug nuts. Yes, I will check torque on the next outing.
