As others mentioned, that red curb side step down regulator is probably unnecessary now but at 10-12 bucks, no big deal. When the Chinese made Fairchild auto reg failed on ours, I replaced both with Marshall Excelsiors, the same kind as our last 5er had between 2006 and 2014. I also replaced the very heat hardened pigtails as well and with a bit longer hoses.
