Preferred Coax for HF

I have 150 feet of RG-8 and virtually no RG-58 or mini 8. There is a extreme shortage of coax supplies around Savannah. I had to drive twenty miles to a Loves truck stop to find an antenna mount and I never did find a decent vertical mount, just a single u-bolt adjustable that will only go to about 45 degrees. Rat Shack doesn't have anything either and the staff is dumber than rocks. Anybody know of a source near Savannah? I like RG-8 but getting a good mechanical and electrical connection with RG-8 and a PL-259 isn't real easy. Mini-8 or 58 ate a lot easier to work with. Since I will be routing it inside I would like something a bit more flexible than RG-8. I suppose I could use 8 from the antenna to the fitting coming through the side but inside I will have to use mini 8 or 58. Suggestion would be appreciated... Dave and Betsy
