I grew up with my folks renting pop-ups for a few years. Dad finally bought a bran new Nimrod Seventy pop-up and we took it out to the west coast and back, seeing most of the sights in between. I was 15 then and didn't get much out of it, save for checking out the girls that were unfortunate enough to be camping with their parents also. Many years of tenting on my own followed. I bought my first camper, a 1998 Coleman Mesa pop-up in '98 after my daughter was born.
