We keep our Wildcat on a river lot a few hours from our home. The power was disconnected by mistake last year. I got a call from a neighbor who has a camp nearby that our power was disconnected. It was 6 days before I could make it back. The fridge was still running fine on battery/propane when I got there. Two 6 volt GC batteries.

One other time we were not so lucky. I had the battery cut off switch turned on and the guy who mows the grass accidentally unplugged our power cord from the receptacle. It was two weeks without power and the smell was nearly unbearable. Not to mention the dead flies, gnats and other creatures. It took multiple cleanings, charcoal, newspapers and several weeks to get the smell out!
